Nah he's right man, I've played now 2 games back to back where these guys are defending with 10 men in the 18yrd box and controlling the CAM only moving in circles, it's awful. I could even out my pad and do nothing and the dude still didn't even attempt to take the ball. Majority of the community just seem to be able to ruin everything

No dude it is overpriced, 500k more than his rare gold. If EA are using his TOTW as the pricing benchmark, that's ridiculous as high rated / decent TOTW1 cards have always been higher than average due to rarity.

Well yeah around that tbh. I mean when you consider the price of his gold card, and the fact his TOTW is over priced based purely on rarity (I guess also a better PS+ than his POTM) it should a lot less that 600k. The price of this is absurd, seems EAs way of controlling the power curve is over pricing the half decent SBCs to limit the number of people completing them. Shady AF if you ask me.

Yeah same can be said for Lewa and Griez as well though, both given chip shot plus, literally a **** type that's rarely ever used at all in the game both IRL and FC. EA castrating good cards all in the name making money further down line in the form of promos.

Got this card after a rough WL, this pull basically saved the whole damn WL rewards. Of all things he was in the trash premium 3 player pack.

TBH using upvotes as the metric for best SBC card isn't great, too many variables but I appreciate there really isn't any other way! Even say total games played or number completed by wouldn't be a perfect.

I’d go as far to argue that the minimal stat difference between the 93 to the 92 is even greater value. It’s so insignificant, save the coin and grab the 92 TBH.

Don’t know why but I found him to be quite clunky on the turn, certainly less responsive than I had anticipated anyway. Maybe it’s just me though, could possibly be connection related as well.

TBH I’ve done Guerreiro and prefer him or Atal to Trent I think, don’t get me wrong, he looks a solid card, but at 500k+ fodder he’s a hard pass for me. Thanks for excellent reviews, even at this late stage of the game cycle, your impeccable hard work is much appreciated!

Echo everything here, finally decided to employ and element of bundes into my team for a fresh outlook, brining in TOTS Jude and SS Davies has been instantly positive for me. I’ve even brought in TOTS Lewa who is utterly lethal. Use Davies as a LCM in the 3142, and fun is back for me!

I have to echo all your thoughts here, I have been one of a few lucky people to pack both a tradable and untradable version of this Brazilian beast and therefore use him unconditionally. But do think he’s worth circa 850k? No, not a chance. There’s a reason why the likes of KDB TOTY are still circa 1.5m I suppose !

I tried his loan and found him quite a clunky player … is that just gameplay ? Anyone know how he compares to say Cruyff?
