I have both, and as a Chelsea supporter I have to say de jong. Lampard is a bit slow and clunky. MAYBE if you're using box crasher.

Okay, at first I was a bit iffy about him but finally gave him a good test last night. 4411, him and de jong absolutely boss the midfield. He's everywhere. Hes like a magnet, swoops the ball from opponent without even pressing tackle. When you least expect it, he's in the box ready to score. Finally had some pack luck in the 88 hero pack after getting dudek and Howard 2x from the previous ones.

Used him alongside Evo Agbadoug to get 30 Rivals points and climbed from div 7 to 6. Pretty solid CB, cant see a huge difference from him and VVD who I benched for him. Winning the ball back with him and turning so quickly with nice passing felt realllly good.

Kante + Him is great - but if youre worried, swap Marquinhos to CB. HE IS AMAZING THERE.

Can confirm. He is a beast. Althought I used him in the mid as a CDM in a 442, I still think Kante is better, however, if you can fit both of them in a squad do it. I actually now swap Marquinhos to CB and put Koeman to CM along with Kante, but either way, hes solid AF.
