Sry but that's just not true. His form did dip a little bit cuz he was being overplayed due to lack of CDM rotation options in our squad (still a problem this season btw). But he was still one of our best players. And picking HIM as an example for the Newcastle game is shocking, mate. We played awful as a team there but Ryan was still decent. He had a few silly times where he lost possession but without him and his brilliant turns into transistion we wouldnt have won the game. He is the one who enables Rios' goal btw by beating the press yet again.

He is absolutely great for me in WL and in Div 3 and I am most definitely not a great Fifa player. I dont think that this card does do Gerrard justice at all (by no means at all) but if this card is considered "fodder" these days then this game/community is either definitely dead af or people literally don't know how to play football anymore and only abuse full-meta players.

I love the guy, honestly. But he really couldn't if we really put the sympathy and LFC bias aside. Whenever he gets the chance to prove himself, he is not delivering anywhere near Robertson. He tends to lose the ball way too easy and his defensive abilities arent great. His workrate is brilliant ofc, but apart from that it's only his crosses that are worthy of mention and even there I feel like he dropped a bit recently. His detailed stats sadly back this up, as well.Still love him tho

Best fullback of all time. He might not be quite as good as Cafu and Carlos going forward, but he was still absolutely great at it. Adding to that, his defensive abilities were far better than any other fullback. Amazing on the ball as well and so versatile that he could play RB/LB and CDM on world-class level.
Rating could be higher but honestly, his stats are generous, so we shouldnt complain. Some of his dribbling stats could be even higher but his shooting stats are very generous.
FUT was relevant in Fifas' prime years as well. The game was great without tons of promo cards.I'd be totally fine with just having TOTW, TOTY,TOTS,MOTM and maybe some really cool concepts such as Shapeshifter cards (but only where it ,realistically speaking, makes sense such as TAA66, Zinchenko...)

depends on the platform you play. I play on PC, so modded career modes are a completely different expierence. I agree with you on the Vanilla Version of the game tho, this isnt playable for most of the time.
