I don't think, fut was ever supposed to be realistic. Non performance based promo cards, shape shifters and Icons all aren't exactly realistic

It probably won't take that much more time, you don't pack the cards you want anyways. And how would more cards being in the game increase prices?
How do you think most Icons get their rating?Many are so old you literally can't compare them to todays footballers but no one wants a seperate icon mode

Most people haven't seen most icons play and would still be happy to get Pele and others in their team. The same can even be said for many currently still active players

Women can still leave a legacy in women's football, no matter how many people care or know about them though, right? When women are added to FUT it would only make sense to have women icons at least for fun, even if you don't know the players imo
